Hello Viewers,
Today event was another exciting, beautiful and informative moment in Gold in The Slum. The facilitation of the program was being done by our own gifted MC/Comedian Chinedu Ude a.k.a Too Much who in his creative and humorous pattern anchored the activity in a very impressive manner. There were presentations by different people and NACA (National Association of Crazy Artist) after which Mr. Praise Fowowe called on all the eight groups’ leaders for their next task. The task was to get Mr. Adeolu Akinyemi (CEO, Generis Solutions) autograph. After the group task Mr. Praise invited the speaker of the day, Mr. Felix Ekpa to the podium.

INSTANT GRATIFICATION

Poor people will remain poor not because of witch in their village but because of their attitude
Praise Fowowe
Gold in the Slum 20/04/08
What a beautiful and a unique Sunday as the Gold in the Slum meeting experienced a huge number of participants. It was really one of the most successful meetings which the network experienced over 30 new timers and a great turn out from the old members as well. Ijeh Ego facilitated the program in her very appreciative way and there were also presentations from the audience. There were presentations by each group about the group’s name, vision, mission and their manifestos. Mr. Praise took over the group’s presentation and election after which he launched into the coaching (message delivery) segment.

INSTANT GRATIFICATION
-People like this have no plan for their lives and end up with nothing
-Poor people spend their money on liability.

Lucky Luciano said….
If I come back to this world again, I will do a lot of things differently. It took me so long to discover that it takes the same level of hard work to make an honest million dollars as it takes to make a dishonest million dollars.

-While the rich buy the future; the poor eat the future
-While the rich are willing to pay the price; the poor leverage on what is available
-While the rich buy based on need; the poor buy based on want
-The rich are driven by their goals while the poor are driven by their appetite for vogue
-While the rich seek to outdo themselves, the poor seek to outdo others

Golden Question
What will happen if I don’t buy it now?
What will happen if I don’t have it now?
What do you buy?

Which of the following do you posses at the moment?
(1) Blame
(2) Argument
(3) Greed
(4) Instant gratification
(5) Over concert
(6) Irresponsibility

Keynote
That everyone is doing it doesn’t make it right
That you are the only one doing it doesn’t make it wrong.
Remember that, both the rich and the poor are asking the same questions but for different purpose.
